Chiltern District Council has cleared The Backs footpath in Chesham following complaints from residents.

After: The Backs in Chesham after they were cleared.
Caroline Saunders, Chiltern's Community Safety Officer, said: "We spoke to the Probation Service and they booked their Community Payback Team to come and clear the footpath for us.
"Chesham Scouts let them use their hut as a base while they completed the work.
"The project was completed in six days as the team worked their way along from Chesham train station to Hospital Hill."
Starting just before Christmas, the Community Payback Team team spent one day a week on the footpath, finishing in January.
The footpath was neatly edged, overhanging branches were cut back, litter was removed and graffiti was cleaned from the Scout Hut.
The Waste Management team at Chiltern District Council took away all the litter that the team bagged up.
What do you think? Did you notice a difference? Where else in Chesham would benefit from a clear up?
