Chesham man arrested in connection with robbery

An 18-year-old Chesham man has been remanded in custody after being charged with two robberies and three counts of possession of a bladed article.

Jack Green from Nightingales Road in Chesham appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, February 8 after being charged with the offences on Tuesday.

The charges are in relation to an arrest on Tuesday when a PCSO searched a man believed to be in possession of a knife.

The charges are in connection with a robbery on 14 January where a 14-year-old girl had her bag and mobile phone stolen after she was threatened by someone with a knife as she was walking in alleyway off Alma Road, Chesham. Also on January 25 when a 35-year-old woman was threatened with a knife as she walked along the alleyway off Alexander Street in Chesham.
