Chiltern Hills Academy pupil Dolores Andrade has been presented with a digital camera after winning a photographic competition on the Chesham People website.

The website teamed up with the school at the end of 2011 and asked pupils to take pictures with a theme of Chesham.

Pupils then had to upload a gallery of images to the website. More than 50 pupils entered the competition. People were then asked to vote for their favourite gallery in an online poll. More than 530 people voted.

Year 10 pupil Dolores, 14, received the most votes with 46% of those polled.

Chesham People Community Publisher Julie Voyce went along to the school on Friday, January 27 to present Dolores with her prize.

Dolores, who lives in Chesham, said: "I am really pleased to have won, it was good fun."

Julie added: "The competition received some fantastic entries. It was great to work with the school on this and I look forward to doing more with Chiltern Hills Academy in the future."
