Becky Wixon will be performing at a charity concert at The Elgiva on November 19
Chiltern Aid for East Africa is organising the concert to support the efforts of Save the Children to help children and their families affected by the worst drought the area has suffered for 60 years.
More than 10 million people in East Africa have been left hungry, thirsty and desperate as crops fail and cattle die. Without help, hundreds of thousands could lose their lives.
Artists taking part include Bob Dylan cover band, the Zimmermen and local singer/songwriter, Becky Wixon, plus local African percussion bands Foli Drum & Dance and African Vibe Tribe.
There will be more performances throughout the evening, with an exciting dance demonstration during the interval. The event will provide a colourful, diverse and fun packed showcase of talent.
The evening starts at 7pm and finishes at 11pm.
Tickets cost £14 and are available via The Elgiva Box Office (01494 582900), email boxoffice@elgiva.com or bookable online
