Italian restaurant opening soon in Chesham

Chesham will soon have an Italian restaurant in the town.

Little Sicily is set to open on the corner of Broadway and Station Road soon.

The new owner, Sandro Mazzola, recently sent out a newsletter to people who had registered at their website which says: "I would like to thank you for registering your interest on the website for our exciting new venture, as well as the encouragement that so many people have shown over the past few months. This has given me the drive and determination to ensure that Chesham will have the Italian Restaurant that you all want.

"Although there has not been any physical activity with the building work, I have been working tirelessly completing all the legal work. Over the next week there will be increasing evidence of a new Italian Restaurant forming on the corner of Broadway and Station Road in Chesham.

"As things develop there will be further newsletters with updates of progress. Thank you for your support and patience."

The website states that, 'Little Sicily will strive to follow the traditional way of Sicilian cooking with the freshest fish from the coast, the tastiest meats vegetables and cheeses obtained, where possible, from local sources to bring you a richness of flavour that you would expect if you were at a local restaurant in Sicily.'

It all sounds very exciting and here at Chesham People we can't wait for the town to celebrate the opening of our first Italian restaurant. What do you think? Please leave your comments below.
