Man charged with threatening teens with knife in Chesham

A man has been charged with a number of offences that happened in Chesham last month.

Rawa Sherwani, 19, from York Close, Amersham, was charged on December 30 with three counts of robbery, one count of possession of a knife or bladed article, and one count of possession of a controlled class A drug.

The charges are in relation to an incident on The Broadway, Chesham on December 23, in which three teenage boys were threatened with a knife to hand over small amounts of cash.

Sherwani appeared at Aylesbury Magistrates' Court on December 31 and will next appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on February 8.
