Meet the police horses and receive advice at Chesham event

Chiltern Community Safety Partnership will be holding an event in Chesham High Street whereyou will meet the horses and receive safety advice.

On Thursday, February 9, from 11.30am until 1.30pm you can meet the team and the police horses at one of the events where advice and information will be available at the partnership gazebo.

There will also be officers and horses from the Mounted Section patrolling the local area.

Representatives from Thames Valley Police and Chiltern District Council will be offering crime prevention and safety advice and telling residents what they are doing in their local area

You will be able to find out about how to get a half price Selecta DNA kit, a high-tech forensic marking kit to protect your property, pick up information and  get advice about keeping your property and vehicle secure, along with some fire safety advice.

You can also sign up for a free Home Safety Check with free smoke alarms installed in your properties if appropriate and pick up a timer light switch while stocks last which can be set to come on at dusk during the dark evenings to deter burglary.
