They have a good selection of films, normally a couple of months behind the major cinemas, but still it's quite good if you missed it the first time round. Wide range of different shows, and occasionally the have gigs on here too.

I always try and support The Elgiva by attending as many shows as possible as I feel it is a big asset to the town. They not only have theatre, but also the cinema, and you can take a glass on wine in to watch the film which is a bonus!
Don't miss the panto, the kids, and adults love it. Less stuffy that other bigger theatres.
Check out what is on at www.elgiva.com and show your support!
I guess the one thing that really makes the Elgiva different from other theatres is that it shows both theatre productions and films. The range of shows can sometimes be limited, but what makes the Elgiva a local gem is the fact that they show college productions and local pantomine productions, giving you a chance to see some local talent.
The theatre has great seating and great food which makes it a popular venue regardless of whatever is showing.
