SHED@THEPARK Raises the Roof with its 'Umbrella Shows'

Local charity Shed@ThePark Theatre Company is buzzing from two nights

Shed Umbrellas Performance

of special live performances by their childrens’ and youth theatre groups at

Chesham Park Community College last week. Attendees were treated to

four very different and exciting performances from the different age-groups within the Theatre company; each exploring the theme of umbrellas using music, singing, dance,

acting and animation. Highlights included an amazing animated film which demonstrated powerfully how all the children, including those with disabilities, were able to work together on a level playing field to produce inspiring creative work.

‘As always, watching the Shed performances was uplifting. All the

children were clearly committed to their work, and it was wonderful to see how

those with disabilities could participate fully in the artistic action.’ Jane
